- Under this project, digital empowerment foundation will deliver training workshopsto micro entrepreneurs, msme representatives, artisans & self-help groups.
- Fb dost is a project that aims to instill digital marketing skills in 50,000 micro and nano entrepreneurs across five indian tribal states — Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Odisha.
- Each training workshop will deliver tailor-made, localised content for rural audiences in a dialect that the latter is most familiar with. Ahead of every training, def will mobilise community members and create awareness about digital tools and social networking platforms.
- The project seeks to digitally empower them to reach out to the larger, possibly global, audience to sell their products, in an effort to help them improve their livelihood by leveraging the benefits of a leading social networking platform.
- The trainings and interactions with the entrepreneurs will also serve as a resource to create a comprehensive database of village-level entrepreneurs.
